Introduction

Kira is the main character of The Healer's Trilogy. She is escaping from her former master and mate, Toril, along with her animal companions Vaith, Kelmir, and Trad. She possesses the ability to telepathically communicate with animals as well as the skills of a healer.

The Healer's Legacy

After learning about her mother's true heritage from her mentor, Herestra, Kira attempts to flee from her mate and master Toril. Once she managed to get away from her escorts, Dagger and Rasten, she ended up in an Uldast Gnome village where she met Ryospar. While there, she heals Ryospar's niece, Talya. Once her true identity was revealed to Ryospar, she fled with her animal companions and encountered a troll. Eventually, she ended up at Tem Hold, where she met Holder Milos Tem and his family. While there, she claims to be a hunter, uses her mother's name, and decides to tutor Milos' niece, Milvari. When Milos Tem's nephew, Tratine, gets kidnapped, she is forced to reveal her true identity. When she learned that Toril is leading a military force to retrieve her, she decides to help poison his soldiers. During the battle, she manages to kill Toril with a sword to the chest. After that, she decides to continue her journey to cross the Faersent Sea to find her mother's people.
