Introduction
Milos Tem is the current Holder of Tem Hold.
The Healer's Legacy
Before the events of the novel, Milos took charge of Tem Hold following the death of his brother, Kamar. He also took charge of raising his niece, Milvari, and nephew, Tratine. He invites Kira into Tem Hold and even lets her train Milvari despite being wary of her true intentions when they first met. When Tratine is kidnapped, he forces Kira to reveal her true identity. In the end, he decides to continue sheltering Kira while figuring out a way to get Tratine back. Once Toril's forces are driven away from Tem Hold, he sees Kira off.
